Purpose and Definition
The Furniture Removal & Recycle Program by AHF Depot is a free initiative designed to assist individuals with the responsible disposal of unwanted or discarded furniture items. This program not only helps individuals clear out old or unneeded furniture but also contributes to environmental sustainability and benefits local communities. By participating in this program, you are ensuring that your old furniture will be picked up, restored, and repurposed, extending its life cycle and reducing waste.
Acknowledgment of Restoration and Repurposing
By scheduling a free pickup through the Removal & Recycle Program, you acknowledge that the furniture items collected will be restored and repurposed by AHF Depot. Our team of skilled technicians will assess each item to determine the necessary repairs and refurbishments, ensuring that it can be given a new lease on life. This process helps reduce the environmental impact of discarded furniture and supports our commitment to sustainability and community enrichment.

This free furniture removal and recycle program is available only in the following zip codes: 34470, 34471, 34472, 34473, 34474, 34475, 34476, 34477, 34478, 34479, 34480, 34481, 34482, 34483.
Eligible Items for Pickup
Furniture Condition: We pick up old furniture that may have scratches, rips, peeling paint, or is generally in need of TLC but is not destroyed. Acceptable items include those that show signs of normal wear and tear but remain structurally intact and usable. Examples include wooden tables with surface scratches, chairs with minor upholstery tears, or dressers with peeling paint. Furniture that is considered destroyed, such as items that are smashed, cut apart, broken into multiple pieces, or otherwise heavily damaged beyond repair, is not eligible for pickup. This ensures that the furniture we collect can be effectively recycled or repurposed rather than discarded as waste.
Contaminated Furniture: We do not pick up any upholstered furniture that has been obviously contaminated with bodily fluids from humans or pets. This includes but is not limited to sofas, chairs, or mattresses with visible stains, odors, or residues that indicate contamination. Our goal is to ensure the health and safety of our technicians and the sustainability of our recycling efforts.
Appliances: We do not pick up any appliances, including refrigerators, A/C units, microwaves, washing machines, dryers, dishwashers, or any other large or small household appliances. This program is strictly for furniture items, as the logistics and regulations for disposing of appliances differ significantly from furniture. Appliances often require special handling due to the presence of refrigerants, hazardous materials, or complex electronics that must be disposed of in accordance with local environmental laws. For appliance disposal, we recommend consulting your local waste management service or a certified recycling center that specializes in appliance disposal. These services can provide proper and safe disposal methods that comply with environmental regulations and help prevent hazardous materials from entering landfills.
Mattresses: We do not pick up mattresses unless they are brand new and still wrapped in plastic. Used mattresses present hygiene and safety concerns that prevent them from being eligible for our pickup and recycling program.
Non-Compliance Fee
If you schedule a free pickup for an item that violates these terms, resulting in AHF Depot not picking up the item(s), we reserve the right to bill you a fee of $59. This fee will be mailed certified to your address and is due within 14 days.
Cancellation Policy
Up to 24 Hours Before Pickup: You can cancel your scheduled pickup without penalty up to 24 hours before the pickup time.
Within 24 Hours of Pickup: Cancellations made within the last 24 hours before the pickup time may incur a fee of $59. This fee will be mailed certified to your address and is due within 14 days.
No-Show Policy: If you schedule a pickup and our technicians arrive but you are not present and did not cancel in advance (no call/no show), we reserve the right to bill you a fee of $59. This fee will be mailed certified to your address and is due within 14 days.
Late Fees
Late fees are applied to unpaid invoices at a rate of 2.99% of the past due amount per month, plus a flat fee of $0.30.
Ownership Transfer
All pickups will require a signature indicating that you have given AHF Depot ownership of the item(s) we have picked up.
Liability Waiver
By scheduling a pickup, you agree to the following liability waiver:
Damage During Removal: AHF Depot is not liable for any damage to your property, including but not limited to walls, floors, and other furniture, that may occur during the removal process.
Personal Injury: AHF Depot is not liable for any personal injury that may occur to you or any other person present during the pickup process.
Third-Party Liability: AHF Depot is not responsible for any injuries, damages, or losses caused by third parties, including our contractors and delivery personnel, during the pickup process.
Property Condition: You agree to ensure that the items to be picked up are accessible and that there are no hazardous conditions that could endanger our technicians. AHF Depot is not responsible for any accidents or injuries resulting from unsafe conditions at your property.
Indemnification: You agree to indemnify and hold harmless AHF Depot, its employees, contractors, and affiliates from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from the pickup and removal of your furniture.
Agreement to Terms
By scheduling a free pickup, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to all of the terms and conditions of the Removal & Recycle program. This agreement constitutes the entire understanding between you and AHF Depot regarding the program and supersedes any prior agreements or representations.
